Security

Today as I walked to work I saw a mother holding the hand of her child ,taking him to school.I instantly had a flash back to when I was young and my mother walked with me to school.I felt so secure and protected because I knew she was at my side to take care of me.I could face the biggest dog without fear because my mother was with me.

This reminds me of a text in my favourite book,"when you passeth through the waters ,I will be with you;and through the rivers;they shall not overflow you:when you walkest through the fire,you shall not be burned;neither shall the flame kindle upon thee."(Isaiah 43:2)

This is a promise by God and all His promises are sure.So I feel secure as I transverse this earth,I am not afraid of anyone because I know the Powerful Lord is at my side as I walk on earth .And He will be with me as my walk leads me to heavenly places.
