World Cup

It is official ,we are going to the World Cup .Last Wednesday, our soccer team beat Bahrain 1-0 to advance to the World Cup which will be held in Germany from June 2006.

Trinidad and Tobago has become the smallest nation(1.3 million) to achieve this feat.The government proclaimed a national holiday on Thursday and we all had a grand celebration.We are still basking in the glow of such a great accomplishment.

But there is a greater goal to be accquired i.e. attaining heaven at last.If we miss heaven,our whole life would have been worthless.This planet ,earth is our testing ground to see if we are worthy to reach our goal.This planet will be destroyed in the near future!!

Revelation 21: 1 says,"And I saw new heaven and new earth for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away."

So our main focus should be to get to heaven where there will be joy evermore.But we must make the right choices to get there,we must be obedient to Jesus .
I hope to see you there in heavenly places where we are going to have the biggest celebration ever.So move aside World Cup and embrace heaven now ,let the celebration begin......
